All investigators and surveillance operatives working for/on behalf of SES Ltd adhere to our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), in respect of both investigative methods and surveillance deployments. This enables clear understanding of the principles under which the company operates in both an investigative and surveillance context and thereby, its expectations of them.
Whilst engaged in surveillance as commercial investigators, we are not constrained by the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000; its principles are however regarded as best practice, particularly in relation to the accuracy in completion of surveillance logs and reports and the integrity of those documents. Accordingly, many aspects of our SOP reflect the principles contained within RIPA and adherence is closely monitored by our operations and investigations managers.
